When asked: "which programming language to choose?", the answer is usually: "the one that is more interesting!"
Without fully realizing my interest, I chose Javascript. I've been learning it for several months now. And then I began to understand that I realized that I do not like typesetting. All the same, JS is WEB and won’t it turn out that I will work on something that I don’t like.
Throwing JS is a pity, because of the time spent on it. Yes, and there is an office that is ready to take me trainee, there is even a person who knows JS very well and is ready to help me in training.
Tell me, how would you proceed if you continued to learn JS or would you switch to another language, for example, Java?

If you like js, I see no problem. This is a universal language, you can write not only the web, you want mobile phones - React native, cordova, ionic .., Desktop - Windows Forms Js, Electron.
