What to choose APCu vs Memcache?

Dear experts, tell me that now it is more reasonable to use APCu vs Memcache for caching on vds, ram 16 gb, ubuntu server 16.04, within the same machine. Only sites on PHP5.6 / 7, CMS Wordpress are spinning. There is a WP-FFPC plugin , I want to use it for the cache.
Maybe you can throw some fresh tests on this topic, I didn’t find something right off the bat.

If separation between N servers will not be guaranteed - it makes sense to take apcu.
