What technologies should be mastered?

There was some free time for the next six months. Before entering the university, I would like to further improve my skills. Main direction: web development on the server side. Having seen a huge variety of technologies and PLs, the question itself was formed :
What technologies for developing sites are the most interesting and useful in the near future and do not have a very high entry threshold?
What PL to use for writing your web projects?

If you are going to dig into the web, start learning with Ruby and its wonderful Ruby on Rails framework.
You can take PHP with Yii, here the entry threshold is lower, but if you take it as the first PL, then with a high probability you will become another shitcoder. Rails simply won't let you do that.
At the university, everyone is taught to write in C # & ASP.NET, but I personally left this technology, because. the framework was proprietary and worked extremely poorly on Linux at that time.
If you can't pull the back-end technology, then either towards the front-end.
Language CSS, HTML, JavaScript. Angular(javascript) and Bootstrap(css) frameworks
