What technologies should a QA engineer in the capital have?
Good afternoon.
I plan to move from my outback to the capital in 4-6 months, due to the total lack of work.
For the last 3 years I have been working as a regular qa automation, on a fairly large American site.
From the acquired skills Html, dom, css, perforce, a couple of bug tracking systems. Tests were written in Silktest from borland. Recently, I have been working on selenium webdriver at the junior level - for this I learned java.
In the capital, I would like to work in the field of QA, not necessarily automation. In this regard, the question arose - what to devote the next few months to studying, in order to be able to ask for a decent salary upon arrival (I would like something around 75 :) )?
I thought about javascript myself, but perhaps there is something more useful for this stage.
Thanks in advance!

For 4 months it is difficult to learn a new technology so that this knowledge is adequately paid. Especially if the technology is being studied not for work, but for additional development. Surely there is already a strong area of expertise. The same Silktest. Or Webdriver. These products have so many features that for years of study is enough.
Reservation - I work not in Moscow, but in the capital.
I got a lot of knowledge on Selenium WebDriver while solving the problem - how to embed web client tests using WebDriver in Continius Integration. I learned how to programmatically raise test stands with agents, work with Selenium Grid, take screenshots on a remote machine during an error, collect JavaScript errors while the test is running (each browser has its own way).
Seems like a simple task. But if it is not solved, the value of the tests is zero, no matter how beautiful their code is. And it takes a lot of knowledge and skill to make a decision. There are half a year.
Although, 4 months is enough to learn new technologies. I've been into automation for a long time. And in half a year, he became a specialist in load testing. I was taught for a week (developers and more experienced colleagues in the load testing engineers). For a month and a half I read, wrote, debugged. I rewrote the project three times (the original deadline was for two weeks - one iteration, the deadline failed). And things went uphill.
High loads is a very interesting area. If you have half a year to read books on relational algebra, learn how SQL query execution plans are formed, write your own fast code, be able to write little code (use frameworks and efficient decomposition). As well as debugging, coding, analysis. You will become an expert.
JMeter, Graphite, Fiddler (or other proxy) are your helpers.
Go to the job search site and see what skills are required for the position of tester.
