What technologies do you use for printing from a terminal server (Win2012, Win2008) to clients (win8.1)?

Hello! Actually, subject .....
I know that there are such things as Easy Print, ScrewDrivers, I do not consider them for some reasons. I know about the GS + REDMON method, but it worked for me with Win7, it does not work on Win8.1. more interested in just the topic GS, are there any recipes? I just want to organize stable printing from the terminal server to local printers
