What technologies are used to recreate 3d in movies and game trailers?

Hello
When I watch videos with gorgeous animation from blizzard, every time I think about how they still create these masterpieces? What technologies do they use? It is interesting in what programs they create 3D objects, where they animate and mount them, where they apply color correction and edit sound.
And is it possible for a beginner to master all these programs in order to create, though not so bewitching pictures, but at least something similar was published.
I know that you need to read a ton of anatomy literature, but I just hope for similar advice.
If the programs that professionals use are too complicated for a beginner, can you recommend something simpler? I heard about blender, 3d max'e, cinema 4d, but I only roughly understand their purpose.
Thank you all in advance for your advice

It must be taken into account that a whole studio is working on such trailers, etc., with the division of duties, respectively, the number of man-hours for the final product will be decent. Their pipeline seems to me something like
3dsmax or maya and zbrush for sculpting modeling and retopology, painter and designer from allegorithmic for texturing, final assembly of scenes and simulation in houdini, animation can be performed in any packages in the same T-shirt, for example, composition and color core in Nuke and Da Vinci . But again, there are many variations, depending on personal preferences, the convenience of software licensing, the size of the studio, and so on. Purely in theory, in general, the entire project from scratch can be done in Houdini. A beginner in half a year will be able to produce absolutely sane and beautiful renders of statics and maybe even animations, if he intensively studies the area of interest to him without sparing time. It makes sense to start learning with any basic package, be it 3dmax, cinema or maya. Studying any other package and highly specialized programs, if desired, will only be a matter of time. Good luck in your endeavors
