What tablet to buy in the car?
I traveled for a couple of days with the Freelander PD20 - I liked it, but there was no bluetooth I needed. It would be logical to choose a version without this drawback, but something tells me that there may be even more interesting options, so I decided to ask for help.
Need :
- gps
- bluetooth for telemetry
- wi-fi for the Internet
- usb (preferably, but you can easily get by)
Don't :
- extra performance -
3g
(there is a phone)
- a large battery
- cameras
is it possible to replace the DVR with a pair of external cameras connected to this tablet?

And what are you doing with the tablet while driving, sorry for the indiscreet question?
here is an interesting option, even though you don’t need 3g ...

bluetooth + gps + 3g, sort of like ips display, but no reviews yet
I took it just for the Huawei Mediapad car - as a navigator in the first place, maybe there is gps with a quick cold start, plus 3G, bt. But he does not say that he would be especially budgetary. By the way, all hands will not reach to try elm327 with it.
And what car? I bought a regular navigation multimedia center NaviPilot on Solaris . Looks almost like a native.
From what you have listed: BT, WF, GPS is.
I did not connect the camera, but I think that it will connect via USB without problems.
I will not be original, but Nexus 7? Excess performance is present, though :)
I won't give you specific advice on what to replace it with, but the Freelander PD20 you've been driving with has some of the best GPS performance available on a budget tablet today. The company that produces it is a manufacturer of GPS equipment. So if navigation is important, it will be difficult to find an alternative for this parameter ...
