What sources reveal the topic of analysis of the relative position of objects?

Good evening.
I recently went through the topic of image recognition, looked through articles, basic texts, but I'm looking for a topic, as it turned out, quite specific. At least at first glance.
Most sources cover the topic of building an image model, recognition for the purpose of highlighting classes, and so on and so forth ... However, I have not seen anywhere that they touched on the topic of analyzing the received data. Namely, this is what I'm looking for - the relative position of the models, the characteristics of the resulting vector image, the distances between objects ...
Since it's quite recent in this area, I don't even know what terminology to look for. Maybe someone is more familiar with the topic? What can be read with an emphasis on the analysis of the data obtained? Or, for the book to be 50/50, recognition and analysis.
Right now, the only thing that comes to mind is AI in computer games. While I'm looking in this direction.
Thanks in advance.
