What solutions are there for Markdown on React with the ability to describe your own rules?

We need a library that allows us to describe our rules in the markdown editor.
Let's say I want the line "Eat [the] more of these soft French rolls and drink tea" the fragment in square brackets as a result to be wrapped in a SPAN tag
