What software to use for a video surveillance operator?

Good afternoon, colleagues!
The management gave the go-ahead for the installation of 8 IP video cameras. So far, Orient equipment has been chosen. 8 port POE video recorder and IP cameras. But then the question arose about the organization of the workplace. Ready to put a computer and stick 1-2 monitors to a person. But how can he operate these cameras? to swap, lay out and drag the cameras in the future on the monitors? I don’t want to directly connect the monitor to the registrar, the person will get access to the settings and archives. So the question is, to use some third-party software for this, then which one? Or, as a rule, does the manufacturer of registrars have such software in the kit? Someone has no opportunity to test to see.

The video recorder software must have account settings, administrator and user. This is usually done by default by all more or less decent manufacturers. This can be found in the user manual for the video recorder you purchased. Why do you dance with a tambourine on an equal footing is not entirely clear. We installed the registrar, connected monitors and cameras, spread the settings over the cameras, set up users and changed the standard administrator password - profit. I found this link on the net about this model . Page 26. user setup.
