What software should be used to create a workplace for a cashier and a merchandiser?

The task was received: to create a workplace for a cashier and a workplace for a merchandiser in a small grocery store. What software to use? I have no experience, I think it is not advisable to use 1s and sbis: there is only one store, no expansions are planned, there may be problems with support, but arguments for them are accepted.

Country city? Budget? Equipment?
There is a lot of software that allows you to upload / download data in 1s, and sales are already underway, for example, through FR at the cashier's workplace
