What software is there on OS X to manage your book library on a computer?

Hello!
A long time ago I used an amazing software on Ubuntu to manage my book library on a computer (classification by authors, publication dates, tags, read, queued, etc., etc.). The program worked with a large number of formats, for the life of me I can’t remember the name, I want to put myself on OS X.
Maybe there are some similar chic and comfortable things on the Mac?
