Good afternoon, a lot of SMS is received on the phone with notifications, it was decided to transfer this moment to the Web component. The web component itself does not concern me in any way, but I wondered about receiving sms and writing them to the database, at first I looked at asterisk, but there is abundant functionality , is it worth looking after something more narrow-profile?
Initially, my idea was this, there will be an sms virtual gateway that will receive messages and actually send them to an asterisk, for example, which, when received, will write to the database, from where they can then take data, a lot of water and not really how to do it better in the shortest possible time, maybe does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

PS It will not work to connect a GSM modem to the server itself, the connection does not break through there.
