What should be in a modern CRM system for web studios?
I'm going to start developing a free Open-Source CRM system on Symfony + Angular stack, which will be specific for web studios. At the moment, there is such functionality:
- Users + roles, the ability to set tasks by the administrator
- Project management, with the ability to comment on tasks
- Statistics
Of course, the list of functionality is extremely small. What else do you think the system should be able to do? Or will this functionality be enough?

Wow, cool, invite me to the project, I can definitely help :)
Here I have my own small studio, I deal with the technical side for the most part, my partner Vanya deals with clients and other external parts. Our tasks in the company are different, but we converge in some processes, for example, meetings with a client, I explain the technical part and quickly assess the complexity.
For CRM, let's go from the other side. Business is business processes and the people involved in them.
There are "clients" - it's good for clients to set events and deadlines, for example, we sign a contract and set deadlines in applications on March 20 and there is a work plan, tasks are assigned to the manager from the director, for example - on the 3rd, "write a text about services and the company";
programmers and designers can set tasks for the manager for this client, for example - "designing the ORC and NGV are two different services or one?";
the manager can set tasks for programmers and designers, in the style of "change garbage on the site"
Everywhere there are responsible people, there is time, if something is not done at some stage, the culprit will be found. <<If you don't control one part of the process, you don't control anything>>>
It would also be great to track where customers are coming from:
*incoming call
**advised by friends/clients
**saw an ad
**found our website /*methods*/
* application from the site
* cold call
-----
further interesting events for the client
* meeting
* call
*question to the client
*agreement
*support (we ask if everything is fine, if you need anything) there are
also
a bunch of useful features that I literally collected from different CRMs)
Google Drive synchronization is an awesome thing, sharing files inside the disk using CRM is cool and convenient, yes and if there is CRM work on the type of clients-> Pupkin-> contracts it will be awesome.
Synchronization with mail, and mailing to clients.
By the way, client groups are born from here:
thinking, sending, our client - development
stage
- support - discussion of technical specifications and group agreements
will be useful both for mailing and for summarizing clients.
Another feature will be the approximate price of the client, i.е. we have 3 contracts this month for 100k -> I conclude that I will definitely have 100k :)
Well, it makes more sense to call managers for those who have more numbers)
The project will feature an insert into the studio website, for example, a client is given a login - the password of the client account, the role of the beholder is made to him in the project, he sees his tasks, what we need to send and when, without the right to edit / delete.
If there is still customization of CRM for the studio, then the client who applied to such a studio will definitely fap!
