What should a Yii2 developer know before starting to use Laravel/Symfony?

In the near future I will start writing a large project on Laravel, which, according to plans, will grow significantly.
It was necessary to choose a framework, Symfony/Laravel. Decided to use Laravel (MVC, fancy, modern, etc).
Delivered, created couple of controllers by means of docks. I see that the differences with Yii2 are huge.
So far I have no idea what awaits me and will need to be taught.
PS: the choice of the framework is not yet final, so there is time to change your mind, but for Yii2, the final refusal.

To be able to use the office and not particularly get involved in Laravel, since this framework is addictive and it is difficult to return back to Yii on a psychological level.
