What should a programmer know to write CRM?

Hello!
Please tell me, we have a service center for the repair of equipment. We are looking for a programmer for writing a simple CRM, and in the future to write an API for it to integrate with different services.
Also transfer (from WP) and finalize the site to OpenCart.
The question is, what languages should he speak and what should he know so that we do not make a mistake with the choice and correctly compose a resume.

I think it all depends on your goals and needs.
The question is why not use those on the market? Their cost is low now, there are even free options (if something simple), with a ready-made API.
After all, financial expenses for the development and maintenance of such a system will be much higher?

I see a list like this:

  • Know any JavaScript framework (Vue, React, Angular);
  • Be good at layout (HTML, CSS);
  • Know what a server is;
  • Understand the work of server applications and have experience in their creation (Nodejs, php, etc);
  • Know how to work with WordPress;
  • Understand CRUD for API creation;
  • Know what Google is.

I just want to say = Russian)))
I just want to say = Any of the software)))
Without thinking. Want on OpenCart => Must know PHP, probably have to write a driver.
But this is not necessary, you will be integrating with OpenCart. The API can be written in anything.

The programmer will need the usual web stack: PHP, JS, HTML, CSS, SQL.
But to write CRM, he will also need an employee who understands work processes and can form technical specifications from them.
Without this, written by a programmer will be completely unviable.

Might be worth finding a business analyst consultant. He will look and offer a ready-made solution.
And save time and money on development

Writing your own CPM is a stupid idea. Firstly, it's a long time, and secondly, who will then understand this knee-high craft if the programmer fails?

write an API for it to integrate with different services.

to integrate with different services, you need to know their API and not write your own.
Why did you even decide that you will need to integrate with something.
You have a service center - which means work with orders, customers, inventory control of components and materials
Ready-made solution for example https://zippy.com.ua/

Didn't find what you were looking for?
