What should a Linux Python developer know?

Hello. In most vacancies I see a requirement to work with Linux. What is meant by this? Just be able to use the terminal and use the default commands, or something big?

For the web - configure nginx, uwsgi (or alternative CGI), deploy a virtual environment, sometimes tweak SQL settings (understand which buffers affect it, sometimes replication) - know the minimum. But you also need multi-threaded solutions for several servers, which means dockers, orchestration ... well, let's go...
But in principle, these are all "default commands".

If you're proficient in Python, then chances are you'll have no trouble picking up basic Linux skills. As a rule, deep knowledge is not required. At the initial level, you can master the minimum level, for example:

Further, if necessary, more in-depth: the book "Linux Internals" by Brian Ward - https://itsecforu.ru/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/uo...
