What should a beginner Android programmer learn besides a programming language?
Hello! I'm 15. Looking at schoolchildren who at my age stir up something and make money on it, I wanted to start programming. My eyes fell on the java language.
So, to dispel my dreams, I would like to know what exactly I will need to study and what to go through. What would you recommend to read on these topics? I also heard about programmer thinking. How can I get this quality?
And the final question: is it possible to master PL with other technologies at the age of 15-17 and start working as a freelancer?

Language, as such, in our time means little by itself. I would say that this is a third, or even a quarter of the required knowledge.
The rest is knowledge of libraries, frameworks, the architecture of the same Android, and so on and so forth.
And one more important point.
The answer is no. It either exists or it doesn't.
It's like... knowledge of a language does not make a poet or writer out of a person, but knowledge of musical notation does not make a composer. So the knowledge of any PL does not make a programmer out of a person.
I will say even more: I had to teach at one time, and so, this most “programming thinking” was found in 2-3 people out of 10. And this is in courses where adults came, and just to study. So... I don't want to upset you, but the chances are slim.
On the other hand, 30% is also not so little. If you don't try, you won't know. Dare.
