What shader to use for the game prototype?
Hello. There is a prototype of a shooter - as a prototype, of course, with cubic graphics, without lighting, but it is necessary that the picture is not too poor. Is it better to spend time on a high-quality scan and draw at least some simple texture for detailing, or is there any good shader for such purposes that allows you to improve the overall quality of the picture?
Why asked a question? Scanning is not a problem, but it will take a lot of time, and it may simply not be enough for the rest.

Without lighting, it will be difficult to bring the picture to life, as a quick solution, you can add roughness to surfaces using a texture, shader, or a full-screen effect, such as in Kairo . Another option is to add small details with geometry: baseboards, reliefs, debris on the floor, etc. You can take SUPERHOT as a sample , but, again, lighting and lightmaps are used to the fullest. The third option is to invest in the shooting itself, add effects, sound , make animation. For a shooter, the core mechanics are more important than anything else.
Finally, I propose to think, but do you need it at all, to revive the picture? If it's a prototype, is it better to polish the gameplay than the graphics?
SSAO and its various modifications.
It will be enough that the walls do not merge with the floor.
