What service would you recommend for storing photos so as not to load your hosting?

Photo hosting

I am making a website (PHP) as planned, a lot of photos will be uploaded to it. I heard that big companies like FB use third party services to store their pictures. Tell me how and where (on what resource) such issues are resolved?

If such a serious project is directly, these are cloud storages like S3 (not necessarily Amazon, there are plenty of alternatives). It will be paid, but inexpensive.
