What service should be used to protect a desktop application under a win face key with online activation?

Tell me a service or program with which you can embed into your desktop application (exe) under win protection with a license key.
A simple solution is desirable without a bunch of unnecessary settings, with the ability to bind to hardware and online activation. I've tried several options like ASProtect, but I haven't been able to get stable performance. Advise, please, something successful, in your opinion.

if it’s a web service, then you need to write it, I haven’t seen any ready-made ones, however the idea is interesting and it will come in handy for the future, so I can do it if necessary. in terms of non-online methods, spoon studion looks good (it is very expensive over 5k$), but greed is cured and can be obfuscated as a result, flexible license management (trials and keys), .net virtualization (no need for a framework) and other goodies
