What script can you recommend for the player?

In general, you need a player script that determines what exactly the browser supports (HTML5, Flash). I have already dug up a lot of these on the Internet, but their main disadvantage is that markup and styles are generated immediately in the script, and of course I would like to write everything myself. It's just hard to figure it out, I miss a lot of small details.
