So far, I do not know of any laws that would clearly establish sanctions - well, at least in Russia. But the position of the Central Bank is known, Putin's opinion is known...
Potentially, they can be written down as accomplices of terrorism. What conclusions will be drawn from this "there" - who knows.

Based on what federal law? Plus, if you saw the Federal Law, are there really no sanctions written there? Yes, and I don’t think that they can somehow prove it and someone will take it on, the cryptocurrency itself is difficult to catch, otherwise there would be taxes already on it and its popularity would fall.
PS Googled a little, did not find the Federal Law.

A year and a half ago, many people rushed to accept crypto on their websites, the case quickly ended when warnings from the prosecutor's office began to arrive ...
Here is an example of news: https://ria.ru/society/20170809/1500057471.html
In general, we have such a thing that even legislative acts are interpreted by different departments in their own way, and the tax office often issues various "explanatory" letters.
So there is nothing that there is no law, it is important that there is a position of the department.

It also depends on who will legally accept the payment. But if they want to get to the bottom, they will always find something ..
If they pay attention to you and if the site does not belong to an organization, then most likely they will simply block access to it on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Make sure you don't care.
Anonymity should not be at the level of the currency, but in principle.

At the moment, cryptocurrencies are not prohibited in our country and there will be no sanctions for this.
