What's wrong with Wireshark?
Good afternoon. There is a network - a virtualization server (4x1000 lan ports on a supermicro mother, 4x1000 pci-e intel network card),
a gateway - a virtual server with kerio control and a switch for 48 ports.
I want to see how packets go from the local automatic telephone exchange. She's stuck in a switch. I run Wireshark with Kali (also a virtual server, a virtual network card). As a result, I see only broadcasts.
There are several servers (all with vmware virtual network cards), there is my stand-alone PC (also connected to the switch).
What am I doing wrong?

Well, the switch is smart, and it does not send packets to everyone, only to the addressee. Therefore, on a separate computer, you can only see your own or broadcast.
