What's wrong with ubuntu? UUID doesn't exist!?

Just installed linux ubuntu and it immediately greeted me with errors.

- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
