What's wrong with the font on sites in Ubuntu?

On Ubuntu 14.04.2, some text on websites looks like this.
e96644cb3706461099c73c1117215d56.jpg
I can't figure out what's wrong. In the inspector, I see that the problematic text has the following set of fonts:

font-family: Consolas, Monaco, "Courier New", Courier, monospace;

Removing the first two from the system and clearing the font cache does not fix the situation.
However, if you remove the Monaco font from the font-family in the inspector, everything falls into place. Although the problematic typeface does not even remotely resemble Monaco.
Who will tell you what's wrong?
UPD: To avoid stupid answers, I will immediately note that the problem, of course, manifests itself in all browsers.
UPD2: It is also not necessary to write that everything is fine with you. I'm happy for you, but I'm not interested. Obviously the problem is local.
UPD3: The culprit has been discovered - the Monaco font. Which for some reason is not removed from the system in the usual ways. Who faced, I ask for advice.

@gassmonkey

Problem solved by reinstalling the Monaco font from another source.
The font that was originally installed seemed to be crooked.
