What's wrong with grouping objects in photoshop?

Now you can't move objects as a group? When selecting a group folder, starting to move objects, only the top layer or the selected one is transferred, in order to move everything, you need to merge the objects.

If I understand correctly, then you have "Auto Select" on top, click on the layer, it is selected. Everything will be fine with the grouping if you uncheck this box.
