Not strange. MAXLINE will be replaced by 1000 everywhere. Accordingly, the construction will be int 1000, which is the definition of a variable. Variable names cannot start with numbers.
And so, purely for reference:
- do not throw errors and code with screenshots - nothing is visible
- put English in the IDE
