What's the bug when erasing a field on iOS Safari?

The page has fields from which the text is translated into blocks by a special script. On Windows desktop everything works fine.

But on the iPhone there is a strange bug - when erasing the entered text, the cursor freezes before the second letter of the word by default:

I don’t know how it is on other apple devices, please test it. What's the bug?
