What resolution to choose for dashboard design? What should be the grid if the design is planned to stretch to full screen?

there should still be some width limit, at least out of respect for users,
it is difficult for a normal person to keep even a full screen of 15 inches in focus, ideally - no more than the standard width for non-retina screens - 960-980 px, for retina proportionally, 1280 - already too much
imagine your dashboard on a 30-inch screen - you can break your neck
