What related technologies do you need to master today to work as a remote C++ programmer?

Dear habra-user, it so happened that I work as a C ++ programmer in my small shitty town in the department of a Moscow company. But no matter how sweetly you feed me, I'm still afraid that sooner or later all this will be covered up. I’m considering two possibilities: go on the run before it’s too late, where there is enough choice, or gain qualifications to work remotely.
The question is as follows. What is now more in demand by employers in the C ++ genre remotely? Maybe some work with embedded systems or video processing? I ask in order to save time on researching the labor market and immediately start by studying the right technology stack.
It is already difficult (impossible) to retrain for web development. skills sharpened on the desktop. Although I have the skills of deployment, programming modules and setting up an online store, and now I'm smoking libGDX and android diligently in order to make money on the market.

There are no habrausers here, here are toasts. ^_^
Imkho, but in your question it is necessary to be guided by desires of employers. Check out the ads and you'll find out. But, as usual, the employer is impudent, demanding a programmer, marketer and designer in one person, and even pays a salary below the average in one of the specialties.

@EvgenijDv

I have been looking for a remote job as a C++ programmer on hh.ru for more than a month now. Haven't seen any yet :-(

@bogolt

If the desktop is deaf (although I occasionally come across offers there too), then you can try to retrain in development for mobile - obj-c or java or c++ for game projects.
