What projects do you need in a freelancing portfolio?
I am learning flask with the aim of further freelance work (I can say that I have already studied and practiced). What projects to do so that they can then be placed in the portfolio and take the first order? What do you need to be able to do?

Depends on the order.
The portfolio may be empty, no one will tell you the direct path.
Freelancing is not a place where you go and take an order. This is the place where you gnaw it out from competitors.
Look at 100 freelance jobs, select the top 10 most popular ones, make them and add them to your portfolio. Maybe this will help.
1) freelancing is a swamp, it’s strange to set it as a goal
2) no projects will help, real work experience is needed
3) if you dump too much, you can probably find a customer, but working with him will be a pain
If you describe freelancing, then we can say that it already has its own well-established "Audience". That is, those who are already +/- accustomed to communicating with customers. They know which approach is best to use, and what clarifying questions to ask before starting work. This is especially true for the development of sites, which have even more competition than other types of orders.
Of course, on some sites, there are certain bonuses to help beginners in mastering the site and finding an order, but this does not play a strong role.
Often, many people who have studied website development are looking for orders at their place of residence. (i.e. acquaintances, relatives, shops, small businesses.)
Usually there are cases when people do not even know about the existence of the same freelancing, or the correct construction of goals and order structure. And they only know that "they need a website." And since they have no experience in this matter, they look for it as best they can. (So to say "according to the ad")
Ps Well, in general, as for me, freelancing is some kind of game of luck. But after the first few orders, everything becomes easier, more familiar ... and more boring.
Make your site a business card, place your work and projects ..leave your orsid there.
Then in the Portfolio write
the address of the site with the works
of orsids
And here is such a phrase.
I work for two weeks for free, based on my work, you will offer me a price, if it suits me, we will work together ...
I have never received a refusal .....
even without filling out a portfolio
