What programs/utilities are available for comparing source files?

Periodically, there is a need to compare two versions of a module and figure out what exactly has changed. Until now, I used the FC command built into Windows, but it is still inconvenient for frequent use.
Google gives, as usual, a lot of different options. Advise what you use for such purposes.
update Ideally, it would be nice if the utility could highlight syntax and accept command line parameters - compare these two files for me...
