What programs or types of grids do you use during layout?

Good afternoon. I'm learning layout. Is there any alternative to bootstrap grid and why is it better? What do you use in your projects?

There is W3.CSS, a lighter css framework, easier to learn (I want to use it myself, but I can’t get my hands on it)
