What programming language should I use to work with sound?

I have an idea to create a web application related to working with sound. It is required that the user perform some actions on the site or similar, then send the settings preset to the server, and then be able to hear the resulting audio track. So, what language is suitable for this? I plan to write sound processing only in this language, and everything else in others.

Find some library for these certain actions and write the application in the same language as the library.

There is a specialized language for processing Supercollider sound. But I don’t know how well it fits with web applications.
