What programming language is right for you?

Hello!
I have been programming for the web for 7 years. At the moment, the implementation of the desktop version is required.
What language is suitable for automation (not AutoIt, because it automates windows, but I need what was in the background).
The project is related to parsing. I would not like to learn c# because of one task. Advise, maybe there are light constructors or something like that?

For parsing only python. Even better is Python Grab..

Perl - just invented for parsing :) But not for average minds. And C# is just good because it has a bunch of libraries and is easy to learn - you don’t even need almost all the theory of OOP.
