What program would you recommend for tagging?

Good day everyone!
What program would you recommend for assigning tags to objects - musical mp-3 files?
1. It's not about adding/correcting missing metadata (artist, release year, album name, etc.).
2. We are talking about the possibility of assigning your own tags to files in order to conveniently sort them. For example, divide the available songs into sad and funny, and so on.
3. It is desirable that the database formed with the help of tags can be used in the future, for example, when creating your own music playlists.
I would be glad if you can help in some way.

Adding tags to mp3 and more - easytag. The base with search and other "card games" in it is used by the AmaroK player and its Clementine fork. I don't know about custom tags :-(

Song rating should be built into the player, otherwise there is no point. If the player you are using supports plugins, look for the appropriate one.
