What program to choose for a network scanner in the office?
Recommend the program to the office:
There is a separate computer to which the scanner is connected (regular usb), for the convenience of managers, you need a program that will allow you to select scanning settings with minimal effort:
1) Selecting the scanning method - color, black and white
2) Selecting the scanning location from settings
3) Select the format of the output file pdf / jpg
4) Select the file name mask

I solved the problem with the CMDTWAIN utility , by analogy with the article on Habré
. Now managers approach a stand-alone scanner and scan documents by clicking a button, then climb into a network folder and pick them up. Everyone likes it.
If managers use adobe acrobat professional, then it does an excellent job of this task.
If it's not important to scan to PDF right away, but spend time converting, then I can suggest [email protected] . Can JPG (with varying degrees of compression) and BMP.
I've put my many at work. Fortunately, we don't need PDFs (especially multi-page ones) so often.
On different scanners I threw them shortcuts on the desktop.
