What program for printing checks is there for a terminal with an external API?

Here I needed to write an application for the terminal that will print checks, did anyone make one so that it can be printed in this way: let's say app.exe -print my_check.pdf (I don't know what format it even needs)? The interface, if anything, is written in ... php. Yes, not the best choice, of course, (probably I should have read more carefully first).

Each terminal manufacturer (and sometimes a specific model of a specific manufacturer) has its own protocol for printing, especially if fiscal data is needed.
Accordingly, google for the manufacturer / model, call the suppliers - as a rule, there is a dll for Windows to work with.
