What program do you recommend for instant screenshots?
I often create screenshots of my work so that I can visually trace the changes conveniently, but I do it in an inconvenient way: Alt + Print Screen and Ctrl + V with saving to a specific folder.
I would like to simplify this process as much as possible to a one-time selection of a folder for saving and taking a screenshot with one button or a key combination.
What can you share from your experience?
PS OS: MS Windows 7

LightShot - allows you to take a screenshot of both the entire screen and its area, immediately after taking a screenshot, it is possible to send the screen to the network, both in its original form and by editing it in advance in an online editor
sharex ( http://getsharex.com/ ), and that's all... everything you need is there, a lot of settings and the program is updated almost every week.
Since you have Win 7, it's definitely a standard Scissors utility (start / programs / standard). I've been using since Vista. Capabilities: creating a screenshot of the screen, a specific window, an arbitrary rectangle, an arbitrary curved area; copy to clipboard, save to disk, send by mail; pen and/or marker marks.
Definitely Sngit!

I use it myself, I got my friends hooked. And I recommend you.
I am using IrfanView . Although screenshots are an additional function of the program, it suits me perfectly.
IrfanView is a very fast image viewer with plugin support (eg for viewing RAW and media files). 2in1 program so to speak.
The nuance is that in order to make a screen, you need to run Irfan (the keyboard shortcut and the save folder are configured when you press C in the program window). Russian language, like many others, is available.
I also really like Fraps. It is both for recording video from the screen (mainly used by gamers) and taking screenshots.
clip2net.com/ru/
Allows you to take a full screenshot and a specific part. You can save to disk or send to the network. The file\screen can be password protected. In addition, there is screen editing: drawing and typing. You can also send files (but this is only when registering with the service).

How can you take beautifully framed screenshots in a couple of clicks?
And I, for the umpteenth time, again advise gyazo: http://gyazo.com/
Standard Gadget Scissors in Windows 7, if Office 2010 - onenote yet.
Gyazo was advised above, I support it. I use this modest server (no ads, it works smartly). The site has links to previous screenshots and a gallery (however, if the IP address changes, then the site no longer displays history).
I use import from ImageMagic (for one window):
import png:$(date +/tmp/%Y.%m.%d_%H:%M:%S.png)
scrot '/tmp/%Y.%m.%d-%H:%M.png'
strange that no one wrote about XnView , the program is free, it throws all the screenshots into one folder, screenshots one button (F10 standard), screenshots the slave. table, active window, selectable rectangle. Pictures with cursor. Allows after primitive editing (I use only cut or copy a piece of the picture to compile manuals).
Yes, and yet, there is a Russian language.
JShot . There is a capture of the region, the entire screen, editing the captured image (distortion of private data, marker, arrows, comments, etc.). It is possible to configure the screenshot upload to the desired image storage service, dropbox, FTP! Free. Of the possible disadvantages - requires Java on the computer.
I use PicPick. Lightweight photo editor, screenshot taker, on-screen ruler/protractor/magnifying glass, eyedropper, etc.

Definitely cropme.ru
is a free client for all operating systems + an online editor that you can use after uploading an image by editing it directly on the site. very comfortably
You throw a simple program ximg.org/soft.php into autorun and no more headaches.
I'll add FreeCommander (a free file manager like Total Commander) to the list. It has a handy screenshot function with different capture and save settings.
Hello from the future!
Share another program that allows you to pull the scroll wheel while taking a screenshot so that you can actually capture a larger area than on the screen. It seems that Jing allows this, but it does not work without registration, as far as I know.
Image Uploader - uploading directly to the web for example on imgur gives a direct link.
If you need to edit then FastStone Capture
If Dropbox (or OneDrive) is installed, then no more programs are needed, they take screenshots. If you need a little more features then Screenpresso is the best option. By the way, if the operating system is higher than Win7, then you can use key combinations to make instant screenshots, here for more details - internet4runet.ru/2018/03/bystroe-sozdanie-skrinsh...
