What profession involves frequent scripting?

Lately, I have been immersed in writing scripts for Linux, slowly realizing that monstrous projects (by the standards of a sophomore student) in Java no longer look very attractive.
I would like to ask in which of the following professions there is writing scripts as one of the foundations of professional activity: system administrator, tester, build engineer, QA engineer? Or maybe there are professions more focused on writing scripts?
