Hello, recently a friend got a job, it was necessary for the woocoomerce plugin to add some functionality from above with a beautiful admin panel that was not there from under the box. I want to ask the wordPress developers what plugins or improvements in some plugins are missing because of what I have to get into the code, etc.
I want to expand my portfolio with working, possibly useful plugins for WP

In fact, there are a huge number of areas in terms of plugin development that you can expand your portfolio with. Another question is whether this plugin is supposed to be monetized.
I will give examples of some plugins:
1) Html Import 2 - https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/import-html-pages/
once there was a plugin that was designed to import posts and pages from html pages. You could specify CSS selectors and file paths and it would download everything needed. Also did redirects. Of course, this can be implemented by simply writing a parser, but for an end user who does not know programming languages, I think it will be difficult.
2) I would say that there is not enough normal Yandex Maps. Especially for integration with third-party plugins. For example, ACF + Yandex Map. They seem to be there, but lame in the leg
