Yes, you can transfer files via FTP or compress site files into an archive using CPanel hosting, and make an sql database dump via phpMyAdmin ... BUT! Is there a way to automate this process? Is there a script that only needs to point to the site directory, for example, dropping it to the root and giving data from the database so that the script itself does all the necessary operations and compresses the data into a single archive at the output? For some reason, I'm sure that this should be a very convenient way to backup.
