What periodicals should be read?
Books are, of course, great, but sometimes it can be useful to read some popular
IT magazines. For example, in the subway or in between lectures.
It will be interesting for me to know what periodicals the habr community reads.

I can recommend the PROGRAMMIST and VR-online magazines , there is also Hacker and The Practice of Functional Programming , but this is not for everybody.
I also subscribe, alas, I don’t read this myself, but it’s interesting what others will tell :)
Until 2006, he regularly read Computerra, Hacker and SpetsHaker magazines. In the latter there was a chic series about hacking, a lot of useful theoretical knowledge was gleaned from there :) It's a pity that then Spets went into complete despondency.
Now it is difficult to note something outstanding from offline publications on IT topics. Perhaps, all the same Hacker, in the rest of their mass these are magazines either about hardware or about games.
From online - the already mentioned Functional Programming Practice, Wired , Make Magazine , and sometimes I re-read Phrack with pleasure .
Home PC, Hacker, Hardware, Hard'n'Soft, PHP Architect - this is what I read
