What news rss should I subscribe to?

Recently started using Google Reader (too late, yes).
In this regard, the question arose of how to keep abreast of events taking place in the world, while not reading 1000 messages a day.
Is there any news portal that puts only the most important and relevant in rss? What do you use? Thank you!

I read somewhere a businessman's advice (given before the age of the Internet) to watch a business channel on TV instead of general news. The point of the advice was that if something out of the ordinary happens, then they will talk about it on the business channel, and if nothing like this happens, even better - we will see what is needed in the work, instead of all nonsense.

What subject area are you interested in? Sports, IT, politics, art? Or all at once?
