What minimalist blog engines would you recommend?

Hey!
I want to make a cozy minimalist blog. WordPress is way too busy for my purposes. I really liked the design and functionality of telegra.ph (alas, it does not link articles to an account, and the solution is cloudy).
I glanced at Aegea . Can you suggest any other similar options?

And what is WP overloaded with? Opportunities? WordPress out of the box is nothing more than its competitors. In some cases, even more stable. It's easier for you to turn off the unnecessary, the benefit of information in the internet is at least jo ... th chew.
No, of course, if you are ready to put up with a miserable sheet that calls itself a minimalist blog, then of course it is better to find something like that.
I've read that VP is so big and loads hosting and similar purgametiny... It loads exactly as much as any other php engine loads. Its only difference from others is the sea of opportunities and not a single engine was even lying around. It's my personal opinion. With a reasonable approach, you can make such a candy on it and you won’t have to deal with some flaws and other garbage, which is what you will most likely encounter when choosing some little-known option. And a little later, you will want to add something to the blog on functionality, and then problems begin, then there are no modules, then some bans, then something else ...

I highly recommend taking a look at BatFlat
It's easier and hard to come up with! Everything is modular, everything is simple and concise. The template engine is very nice, the theme to plant - 0 problems.

UPD I
wrote an article on the topic, I recommend reading it:

So, now I will talk specifically about WordPress, but listen.
Option 1: make a blog on wordpress.com (do not confuse it with installing your wordpress on your hosting). This is a site-platform, with tariffs. There is a free fare. Pros and cons:
+ post editor - just like a telegraph
+ it's very easy to start - register, press the Write button, then Publish. Everything. WP has a lot of functionality, but it doesn't get in the way.
+ a common plus of any WordPress: someday you want to furnish your blog more seriously. And with WP it will be very easy for you to do this. There is a huge marketplace of design templates and plugins that extend the functionality of the engine. There is an import and export of content. There are many things. There is also a free SNAP plugin for automatic cross-posting to other sites
+ support for Instant View in telegram
- any sneeze aside will require you to pay for a subscription, and it is not cheap. Sneeze = own domain and install plugins.
Option 2: Installing your own WordPress hosting
+ VERY easy to do! And VERY cheap! I advise you to do this: you buy hosting on reg.ru - there is a special type of hosting, it's called that: for Wordpress and other CMS. You get a domain as a gift. After payment, open the hosting control panel and click "Install Wordpress". There is a link to login to the WP admin panel. You press the + post button. Everything. Finally, no knowledge is required, and the support at reg.ru is very responsive, they will quickly help to resolve any stupid snag.
+ you pay only for hosting and renew the domain, it is much cheaper than any tariffs on any blog sites
+ all the flexibility and power of your own site when you need it, and until then it will not bother you.
- there is no wonderful minimalistic editor like on wordpress.com or telegra.ph(((( I am currently looking for a plugin for this, so far without success. I will still write about my adventures with blogs, if you are interested - subscribe to me, links in the profile.
- there is no instant view in the cart - I do a cross-post to several sites using SNAP, and in the cart I throw a link to the post in LiveJournal.
