What microprocessor?
Hello. I want to bring one idea to life, but unfortunately I have neither experience nor knowledge in this area. The idea is in a mechanism that starts the motor at a certain time, the device must connect to the phone to set the start time (the motor will start 2 times in different directions) and also set the operating time, i.e. for how many seconds to start (therefore, the phone must be able to start motor manually and turn it off to measure the right time). I understand that here we need a microprocessor, a battery, a motor, and bluetooth or wifi (I don’t know which is better, I need the set to cost as cheaply as possible). I will find how to program (I work as a programmer, but as I said I had no experience with electronics and I don’t remember anything from the university). I will be glad for any information. Interested in which microprocessor to choose (there are few functions, therefore the cheapest) and how to contact the phone (bluetooth or wifi)? Not necessarily an arduino, the device must be small and cheap

The controller is rather, and absolutely any.
If these are the first steps, then take some kind of arduino, for example, simply because there is a lot of information for beginners, and you don’t need an additional programmer, and there is a choice of ready-made compatible modules.
BT as a ready-made module, if you only need a setting interface, then it is more suitable than wifi.
H-bridge (h-bridge) for motor control is also in the form of a module if it is a normal DC. So there will be a minimum of troubles with electronics, and it will be possible only to do programming.
You just need to make sure that all this works at the same control voltages, and there is enough bridge power to control your engine.
