What literature to read to study chaos theory?

Recommend the scientific literature on chaos theory for studying from the zero level, i.e. initially serious literature is not suitable, but a "ladder" of several books is welcome, from the very basics to the latest research on this topic.
For the basics, only Russian is desirable, deeper literature can be in English.
Thanks in advance.

At the university, we went to this in the following chronological order:
1. difuras
2. mathematical modeling
3. dynamical systems
4. transition states of equilibrium and bifurcations
5. dynamic chaos
True, the latter was a special course and not in my specialty.
