What literature to read on data recovery?
What I expect from the book:
Not a manual about how to restore files in some kind of recovery tools in a few clicks.
I want to know how different file systems are arranged, how hard drives are arranged, how sata differs from scsi, what algorithms are used for data recovery.
Laboratory work and practical assignments are welcome. Desired level - so that I can write my own utilities to restore specific files, revive old flash drives and fix partition tables on the hard drive.
The book must be large.

"data recovery" book pdf
there are no books with expectations - no audience, but there is a lot of material about ntfs, less about linux
the specifics are dead and books will not
eat certain things that screw manufacturers and their helpers do, it’s easier to go to a data recovery office for such things,
how disks and file systems are arranged, you can read perfectly apart from data recovery
