What literature to develop your knowledge about design?

Hello.
I have been interested in design for a long time, in all its graphic manifestations, and decided to delve a little into the materiel.
In this area, I don’t know at all where to start, and where to dance, so as not to get lost.
Actually, I'm interested in something like this:
Where (I mean books) to read about:
Elementary laws of text layout,
Something for beginners about fonts (to at least understand about families, etc.)
Text layout rules,
Rules for creating interfaces,
About general concepts of graphic design,
About setting up output documents in Photoshop and Illustrator for web, print, etc.
I read "New Typography", Tschichold, naturally understood little, read something on modular grids, it's more clear there. I want to structure information in my head.
